Cheryl Kroeker, D.O.

kfc_kroeker.jpgDr. Cheryl Kroeker has been chosen by the OSU Osteopathic Medicine Alumni to serve as the Alumni Professor in Rural Health for the next two years. The purpose of this professorship is to encourage excellence in teaching and to underscore the importance of the health needs of rural Oklahoma.

Dr. Cheryl Kroeker completed her Undergraduate degree at McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas in the spring of 2000. In the fall of 2000, she began her medical school education at Oklahoma State University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Upon graduating Medical School in the spring of 2004, she started her Residency program with the Durant Family Medicine Residency Program which she completed in the summer of 2007.

Whitney Burk, APRN-CNP


Whitney is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice. She cares for infants, children, young adults and families. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Rogers State University at which time she worked at long-term care facilities, transitioned into surgery and worked in the rural healthcare setting her entire nursing career. She received her Master’s Degree in Nursing through Maryville University in St. Louis, MO and graduated in August 2015.
